WKYC Web StaffFirstEnergy crews are still working to restore power to more than 147,000 people in Northeast Ohio following Superstorm Sandy.
The largest concentration of outages remains in Cleveland where nearly 40,000 customers are in the dark. It could be several days before power is fully restored to everyone.
Cuyahoga County was the hardest hit in Northeast Ohio, 114,000 of the outages are in Cuyahoga County representing 20 percent of customers. When factoring in customers in surroudning states includng Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the compay is working to restore service to 1.4 million people.
