Sandusky claims innocence ahead of sentencing

BELLEFONTE, Pa. -- A day before his sentencing, former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky spoke out against his conviction on 45 counts of sexual abuse.

According to an article in USA Today, he both maintained his innocence and claimed the sex abuse scandal was part of a "well-orchestrated" conspiracy, in a statement issued to the Penn State student-run radio station, ComRadio.
