You can't help but get a little giddy.
After we dealt with the leftovers from Hurricane Sandy, and after we had clouds and rain galore, and after the sun finally came out ... now the temperatures will begin to warm.
The northerly winds will shift to a southerly direction tonight and will stay that way for the next several days. That means that our air will be coming to us by way of Alabama rather than Canada.
The warm up is coming ahead of our next potent storm system that is currently stirring up blizzard conditions in portions of the Northern Rockies and Plains. Eventually it will sweep into our area, but we have several days (lovely days) before that will happen.
Got plans to be outside? If not, make some!
