First came the blizzard and winter storm warnings from the National Weather Service office in Cleveland. Those were canceled when the severe conditions subsided early, but in their place a winter weather advisory was issued.
The winter weather advisory has been canceled, too...well, most of it.
The winter weather advisory will continue for the lakeshore areas of Ashtabula county.
It has been a big day of snow and brisk wind for northern Ohio.
Anywhere from 3" to 8" of snow have been reported.
The wind will remain brisk, and blowing snow will continue to be a problem for local roadways.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy with scattered light snow showers and flurries. If we can get some persistent snow showers to form, we could have another couple inches of snow in some isolated areas. Breezy. Near 33.
Friday: Partly sunny. Upper 20s/low 30s
Saturday: Mostly cloudy with scattered snow. Low 30s
Sunday: Early flurries, otherwise partly sunny. Low 30s
Monday: Partly sunny. Near 30
Tuesday (Happy New Year!): Mostly cloudy with scattered snow. Upper 20s
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with scattered snow. Upper 20s
