Two dead in north Akron house fire

AKRON, Ohio -- Two people were killed in a house fire in north Akron early Thursday morning.

The fire was reported after 2:30 a.m. on Oxford Avenue, just south of York Street.

Both people in the house were immediately taken to the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office.

Fire crews are investigating how the fire started at the two-story home.
