CLEVELAND -- Bridget Robinson and Danielle Roberson will be sentenced today for helping hide a man convicted of killing a Twinsburg police officer in 2008.
CONTINUING COVERAGE: Two plead guilty for roles in murder of Twinsburg officer
The sister and girlfriend of convicted cop-killer Ashford L. Thompson pleaded guilty to attempted obstruction of justice in January, following their arrest in May 2012.
Robinson, 37, of Solon and Roberson, 27, of Akron, attempted to hide Thompson from police, who were searching for him in connection with the murder of Twinsburg Police Officer Joshua Miktarian in July 2008.
Robinson is the sister of Thompson, the man convicted in 2010 of killing Miktarian during a traffic stop in July 2008. Roberson is Thompson's girlfriend.

On May 1, 2012, both were arrested and indicted on multiple felony charges of obstructing justice and tampering with evidence. Robinson was originally charged with two counts of obstructing justice, two counts of attempted obstruction of justice, and two counts of tampering with evidence, while Roberson was originally charged with two counts of obstructing justice and one count of tampering with evidence.
