ALLIANCE -- Police say they have Tony Bonner, 53, in the Stark County Jail after charging him with felony failure to comply, OVI, resisting arrest, reckless operation, failure to comply, and a seatbelt violation.
Bonner also has a felony warrant out of Pennsylvania for which he will be going to prison until 2027, police said.
About 7:30 p.m. Friday, officers initially attempted a traffic stop for illegal window tint but he led them on a pursuit that started in the 300 block of Arch Avenue, reached speeds of over 70 mph on State Street, and ended in a yard on Lily Lane.
No officers were injured and the suspect was successfully arrested after he crashed and refused to get out of his vehicle.
Bonner is in the Stark County jail as of the early morning hours Saturday.
