INDEPENDENCE -- Both sides in the Strongsville teachers strike remained at the negotiating table for nearly 12 hours Tuesday but left without a deal in the late evening hours.
Just after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, the district and teachers union began meeting with a federal mediator.
Teachers have been on strike since March 4 and replacement teachers have been in the classrooms.
Governor John Kasich has even offered to step in to try and help bring an end to the strike.
