KENT -- Students at Kent State University are waking up to an advisory from school officials about an armed robbery that happened overnight near the main campus.
According to the KSU warning, which was posted online and sent out as an emergency text alert to those on campus, a pair of gunmen held up the Circle K on Main Street across from White Hall at 3 a.m. Monday and fled the scene on foot.
One suspect was wearing a dark hoodie and cargo pants, the other was wearing a gray hoodie and had an orange backup.
Anybody with information is asked to call the Kent City Police at 330-673-7732.
