Cleveland Weather: Some like it hot, Hot, HOT

The heat and humidity will combine to make northern Ohio quite sweaty Tuesday afternoon.

The addition of more humidity will mean more problems for those who work outside, as the heat index (how warm it feels) climbs closer to 100.

Not only that, but ground level pollution will be cooking in the sunshine, and an AIR QUALITY ALERT day has been issued.

Stay hydrated and stay cool.

Tonight: Clearing and muggy. Mid 70s .. Winds: Light and variable.

Tuesday: Hazy, hot & humid. Low 90s (Cooler afternoon temps along the lakeshore thanks to a lake breeze.)

Wednesday: Partly cloudy, hot and steamy. Low 90s (cooler lakeside)

Thursday: Partly cloudy, hot and humid. Pop-up storms possible.  Low 90s (cooler lakeside)

Friday: Partly cloudy with increasing clouds in the afternoon.  Storms likely late day into Friday night. Upper 80s/low 90s

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Mid 80s

Sunday:  Mostly sunny to partly cloudy.  Upper 70s/low 80s

Monday:  Partly cloudy.  Low 80s
