SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP -- Cemetery employees estimate damages at $7,000 after a mausoleum was spray painted with anti-Semitic messages on Thursday.

Witness statements from the scene at Hillside Memorial Park in the 1000 block of Canton Road led Springfield Township Police to the suspect, who is identified as 56-year-old Slavko Mazibrada.

Mazibrada, of Akron, was apprehended during a traffic stop on Albrecht Avenue not far from the cemetery.

He has been charged with felony vandalism and was booked in the Summit County Jail.
