WESTLAKE - Dawn Johnson went to California in 2010 to adopt her son Alex. Alex was diagnosed with traumatic brain disorder since birth, so dawn wanted to give him as normal a life as possible.
Alex's seizures are unpredictable and can come at the worst times, as one did last Thursday driving to the mall.
For 20 minutes Dawn and her family were outside their car on the offramp doing everything they could to keep Alex alive.
That whole time, Johnson estimates nearly 100 cars came by and not one of them stopped, called 911, or even asked if they needed anything.
The ambulance eventually came for Alex and he's now fine, but the family is hoping their story will inspire people to stop and help the next time they see an emergency.
