AKRON -- Police have turned to YouTube once again hoping for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for a hit-and-run crash.

The woman allegedly crashed into a construction worker on Sept. 9 around 8 p.m. with her vehicle on I-77 North near the Vernon Odom Blvd. exit and fled the scene.

Surveillance video from a nearby gas station shows the suspect and her vehicle -- a tan SUV, possibly a Ford, with damage to the driver's side.

The footage shows the suspect rushing in and out of the gas station's store.

Anybody with information is asked to call the Akron Police Department at 330-375-2508.

No further details -- including the construction worker's injuries -- were provided.
