For Wednesday morning, the cold front will push through bringing some rain showers with it. By the Wednesday afternoon, sunny and dry conditions will persist as high pressure takes hold of the area.

This Evening: Increasing clouds overnight. Not as cold. Low/mid 40s. Winds: SW 10 - 15 mph.

The top free way to manage your money

CLEVELAND -- With the holidays right around the corner and many of you dealing with unexpected back-to-school expenses, today is all about savings.

This is also the time of the year where I like to budget for Black Friday and for getting a better idea of where my finances stand before I decide on a 2013 resolution.

Considering many of us cannot afford financial advisors, I want to flag a resource that gets you everything you need for free.

The average consumer owns three credit cards and with different billing dates and cycles, often just seeing your spending in one place is a way to monitor your habits, as well as understand where to tighten up.

Mint.com puts everything you need in one place and then some. There's even a smartphone app to accompany today's website that will send you free alerts when your bills are due.

Here are just a few highlights of what you can do with Mint.com:

• Mint analyzes your spending and accounts to find you a better credit card or bank account.

• You get unbiased, unaffiliated, award-winning advice for free on everything from credit to personalized home loan options.

• See all your accounts in one place. You don't have to check multiple sites per month (or per day for some of us) and you get the entire picture.

• If you invest some of your money, this site lets you instantly "see" all of your assets.

• If you need help budgeting, Mint calculates your spending and breaks it down by category. You can compare your spending month-to-month and quickly see where corners need to be cut and where you or your family is actually on track.

• I love graphs. I like seeing where I need to improve and the free graphs once you sign up allow anyone to easily recognize trends and shortcomings.

Whether you know nothing about money or are more experienced like I am when it comes to savings and money management, today's site will help you in countless ways.

The site has received praise and is considered one of the top sites in the country by The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Time, Money, CNN Money and Kiplinger's, to name a few.

If you're worried about sharing personal information with this website, it's been around since 2005 with more than 10 million registered users and the exact same security your bank uses online.

Mint is as secure, if not moreso, than any banking website you visit and it's a read-only site, which means no money can ever be moved using this website.

Romney brings message and momentum to Cuyahoga Falls

CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio -- More than 10,000 supporters crowded the parking lot of the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium to see Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney deliver a speech on jobs and the economy.

Romney is enjoying a surge in the polls, and in momentum, following last week's debate. He returned to Northeast Ohio for a rally in Summit County, a potential swing county in a swing state.

A vast majority -- three out of four registered voters in Cuyahoga Falls -- do not identify themselves with any political party. The Romney campaign hopes to sway undecided voters in this blue collar city with his plan to turn around the economy by helping small businesses.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie got the crowd going by calling for the end of the Obama administration in four weeks.

The crowd followed with chants of "Four more weeks! Four more weeks!"

Carol Kmiecik of Lakewood brought her daughter Grace to the rally. Grace is an undecided voter who says she is "leaning toward Obama."

"Oh, she's young. She'll learn!" said her mother lightheartedly.

Winning undecided voters is seen as the key to winning Ohio, but they may take the most convincing. After hearing Romney's 30-minute speech, Carol Kmiecik was impressed.

"He's the smartest man and he'll make a wonderful President," she said.

However, her daughter was still undecided.

"Oh, they all just say what they think people want to hear. I still don't know," she said.

Canton family speaks out about being hit during police chase

Written By kolimtiga on Selasa, 09 Oktober 2012 | 17.04

CANTON, Ohio -- A Canton family is criticizing a weekend police chase that ended when the officers' cruiser struck the family's minivan.

Angela Letendre, 28, and her mother, Debbie Elward, along with Letendre's two young children and her newborn baby boy were just five blocks from home Saturday evening on 17th Street SW.

"I heard sirens, but I guess it was at a far distance," said Letendre. "The next think I know, I see lights, and getting hit."

"All I seen was the hood of the car, and I thought... me and the kids were dead," said Elward, who suffered broken ribs and deep bruises on her arm.

Canton police officers were in pursuit of a car that refused to stop after officers tried to pull the driver over for a traffic violation.

The chase traveled down Clarendon Avenue, a residential neighborhood. The cruiser struck Letendre's minivan broadside, sending the van through a neighbor's fence before it came to rest just feet away from the house.

Letendre remembers the panic she felt hearing her children screaming.

"I had fear... getting my kids out I seen smoke and I smelled smoke in my car," she said.

Good samaritans rushed to help get the kids out of the car.

Letendre's daughter Destiny, 4, required stitches along her jaw. Her 16-month old son, James, had a black eye and 3-week-old Parker managed to escape without a scratch, even though the cruiser hit his side of the van.

Letendre is angry that police chased a car through a residential neighborhood.

"It was over a traffic stop. Let the other cruisers handle it," she said.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash since it involved two Canton police officers.

Investigators say that the chase lasted 3 minutes and reached a top speed of 40 mph.

Officers eventually caught up with the car they were chasing and arrested the 16-year-old driver and two other juvenile passengers. Police say the teens fled because they didn't have a driver's license and the plates on the car were illegal.

"All over a traffic ticket?" said Elward as she began to cry. "My grandkids could be dead over a traffic ticket? All over a traffic ticket."

BELLEFONTE, Pa. -- A day before his sentencing, former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky spoke out against his conviction on 45 counts of sexual abuse.

Saatnya Jakarta Mencari Pemimpin

Written By kolimtiga on Senin, 02 April 2012 | 16.34
