Cleveland Weather: More clouds, snow chances

Clouds will be on the increase this evening as a storm system passes to our south and east.

This system will pass close enough to bring some wintery weather to Tuscarawas, Carroll and Columbiana Counties. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for these counties through 10 AM Wednesday. Up to an inch of snow, freezing rain and sleet are likely and will make for hazardous travel conditions during the overnight hours.

Models are also suggesting that snow showers are likely for all of Northeast Ohio overnight tonight through tomorrow morning.

Another storm system along with a cold front will pass through Northeast Ohio Wednesday night into Thursday. This system will bring with it lake-effect snow showers, especially for the Snowbelt.

Looking ahead toward the weekend, we will warm into the 40s Saturday, but a significant cool down is expected Sunday into next week.

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy with light snow showers. There is  a Winter Advisory for Tuscarawas, Carroll and Columbiana. For these counties, with up to an inch of snow, freezing rain and sleet expected. Light winds. Low/mid 20s.

Wednesday: Morning snow showers likely. Then sunny in the afternoon. Breezy. Mid/upper 30s.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with isolated snow showers. Cold. Upper 20s.

Friday: Partly cloudy, warmer. Near 40.

Saturday: Partly cloudy. Mild. Low/mid 40s.

Sunday: Cloudy, windy with snow showers. Temperatures cool during the day. Mid 20s.

Monday: Mostly cloudy, windy with isolated snow showers. Frigid. Upper 10s (teens).

Tuesday: Mostly cloud, windy with isolated snow showers. Near 20.
