Cleveland Weather: Waterlogged

Written By kolimtiga on Jumat, 12 April 2013 | 13.59

All of northern Ohio is under a flood watch tonight and for the early part of Friday.

We are already water logged after the rain and storms in the past couple days, and the steady rain coming tonight won't help.

Additionally, flood warnings for widespread standing water and high rivers continue for Erie, Huron, Lorain, Wayne, Holmes, Tuscarawas and Carroll counties until further notice.

Tomorrow a cold front will sweep through that will usher in drier, but cooler, air.  This means we'll find the showers becoming more and more scattered, but the air will have a noticeable chill.

Yet another swing of the weather pendulum late in the weekend will bring more seasonable conditions our way for the start of next week, but it does look like rain showers and rumbles of thunder just won't leave us alone.

Well,  it is spring after all...

Tonight:  Steady rain.  Areas of fog.  Temps steady in the 40s

Friday: Mostly cloudy with rain likely early, the becoming more scattered to isolated later in the day.  Some peeks of sun.   Cooler.  Temps in the upper 40s to near 50, the slowly falling late day

Saturday: Partly sunny with a few showers possible, especially east. Mid/upper 40s

Sunday: Partly sunny.  Mid 50s

Monday: Mostly cloudy with rain chances. Upper 60s

Tuesday:  Mostly cloudy with chances for showers.  Low 60s

Wednesday:  Mostly cloudy with a chance for scattered storms.  Mid 60s
