Comic-Con: Footage from 'Captain America: Winter Soldier'

SAN DIEGO -- There was big praise for a pair of Cleveland brothers Saturday night at Comic-Con.

For the first time, Marvel Studios showed footage from the "Captain American: The Winter Soldier" movie.

"The directors of "Captain American: The Winter Soldier" Joe and Anthony Russo" was the introduction Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, gave the Russo brothers.

Cleveland took the stage at Comic-Con Saturday night. Not only are the directors from Cleveland, a large portion of the movie was filmed downtown.

The crowd got to see an exclusive preview of the movie, which Marvel isn't sharing with the rest of us just yet.

"It's a huge milestone for us to finally be able to show something from the film for the first time. It's really a special experience, to be able to do it here is like beyond thrilling and exciting," said Anthony Russo.

The actors were just as excited about the film.

"The studio and the Russos have put together a movie that is going to far exceed everyone's expectations," said Anthony Mackie, who plays Sam Wilson a.k.a. The Falcon.

"The directors were just wonderful, wonderful people. It made it very comfortable because it can be a little nervewracking. And we just got in there and kind of did. I think it's going to be a wonderful film," said Emily VanCamp, who plays Agent 13.

"We've got about three more days of shooting and we are just really excited to just kind of share. I know the directors were really excited to share the footage with the audience," said the Winter Solider, played by Sebastian Stan.

Director Joe Russo said "I've been collecting comics since I was 10 years old. One of the first-ever books I bought was a Cap Falcon book. To be able to come here and present that footage is a dream come true."

"Captain American: The Winter Soldier" is set for release April 4, 2014.
