CLEVELAND -- It's hands down one of the most frequently asked questions of the back-to-school year: Should I get an iPad or a laptop?
My answer is always that you can't beat the portability, weight and ease of the iPad (and many other competing tablets) but it's awful to type on for extended periods of time.
Again, just my opinion, but composing a lengthy essay or research notes on an iPad is really inefficient in all of my tests and interviews with students.
That leads us to iPad Bluetooth keyboards. They're great, but you often need a case on top of that, and by the time you're done, it just feels like an iPad plus two other cumbersome accessories.
