Ragweed season is upon us and some say it's worse this year because of the amount of rain we've had.
So what works to combat the symptoms?
Close the windows and turn on the air conditioner if you have one and use an air cleaner with a HEPA filter.
Doctors also advise taking a shower before bed and washing your hair -- especially if it's long.
Routinely wash bed sheets and blankets in hot water.
Sunglasses may help decrease itchy eyes and consider wearing a mask when mowing.
Doctors say nondrowsy antihistamines work well for sneezing and itching, but they won't have much effect on congestion.
